I was going to cycle today, but it took so long to get money out, buy food for lunch and find the cycle hire shop, that I gave up, took a chair lift to the top of a hill and sat eating cake.
It's so great to wake up and be able to see the sky, and a green tree. I will never take that for granted again. The area is beautiful, autumn colours, crisp coolness in the air and water, trees and sky, lots of it. The town has an 'out of season ski resort' feel to it, because that's what it is.
Then chatted to people in the hostel, had lentil stew and am now out having artenisal beers.
Early bus tomorrow, so not planning a late night.
