the Bridge House, Ambleside

Today didn’t go according to plan. First I got a cup of tea in bed which means that I overslept, so that meant no morning blip browse time. 

While my husband went on a bus ride to Keswick, mainly to see the work that has taken place along the A591, I put the washing machine on and cleaned the bathroom. Then I started sorting through drawers, cupboards and boxes to see how much more stuff could be thrown out/recycled/donated. Not a lot. It’s amazing how things we have forgotten about suddenly become more important once they reappear. I need to get tough!

Well, I lost track of time so my intended wander up to Lily Tarn was postponed. Instead it was the scenic route to Tesco (via the Bridge House) to buy food for tea.
