mexicali blues

what a fun itinerary this has been thus far...

flight delays in chicago put me a few hours behind my arrival to san diego monday. my bags didn't make it until the following flight, so i spent some more lovely hours in the airport waiting, as a mexican luggage delivery was going to take more than the day i had to spend.

mad dash to mexicali - head hitting pillow by about 4:30a, that being 7:30a eastern, the time which i awoke the previous morning.

two hours sleep then off to work. it was a long day today as well - this little blip is courtesy of my keepers - still don't feel as though everything went as well as i'd hoped - i'm now hoping this is just due to the sleep deprivation.

and the worst part? i missed a grand blip-op on the drive back to san diego - a car completely engulfed in flames in the mountains. not that i'd wish that upon anyone, but what a shot that would've made. i did manage to drive by just as something exploded - it's left a little mark on the rental's right side. hope that buffs out before the return tomorrow :)

to sacramento tomorrow, still not sure where i'm actually headed after the airport, but that's just details.
