hangers

i'm well overdue for some dry-cleaning hanger recycling. exciting blip, i know. the part that frustrates me the most is all of the missed blip potential throughout this thanksgiving holiday weekend. i had the camera but simply failed to use it - d'oh. so with that, here's the past few days in words so that hopefully the images will come back to me in the future.

thursday - slept in for a bit - drove a few hours to see the family - second annual thanksgiving dinner at sister's husband's parent's house - everyone in attendance - good conversation, great laughs amidst a game of "catch phrase", far too much food.

friday - coffee with dad, lunch with mom, visit to sister's new condo (nice), dinner with family and friends at neat 'soul food' restaurant - again too much to eat. drinks and loads of conversation with good friend who is moving to singapore shortly. sad because she's been a few hours away from my own house after living in thailand for a few years, and this is the one time i'll see her stateside - hope to be in se asia again soon.

saturday - breakfast with mom and dad, drive back home (raining), bite to eat, met up with majority of canoefest contingency - all to the cinema for 007 - drinks afterwards - ski trip currently in the works, hope i can make it.

sunday - unpack, wash, rinse, dry, pack again. destination mexicali tomorrow.

what a great holiday weekend!
