Starling

I don’t know why but the feeder has been a great attraction to Starlings today. Robins, Sparrows and Tits have also visited but have been ousted regularly by the Starlings. 
Today’s blip is a Starling – not feeding but drinking the water. The image I have to confess is a bit of an accident in that I kept pressing the shutter button whist this bird was on the water and it was only when I viewed images on the computer that I realised it had shaken it’s head on this image and splattered water around it.
