My Day

The day started well. We had a fairly quick drive to Milan Linate airport, and got checked in and through security without any delays. We were sitting in the Ferrari bar enjoying a Prosecco when I received a text from KLM saying our flight had been cancelled.

After collecting our luggage we were back landslide and back to check in, along with many others on the same flight. We were eventually rerouted through Paris to Aberdeen, though the flight for Paris was not due to depart for several hours.

We were given a lunch voucher and had a sandwich and in my case a beer before returning to the Ferrari bar for another Prosecco.

The flight eventually boarded and we left for Paris. Another fairly long wait in Paris (and a very long walk) for the flight to Aberdeen. By the time we arrived in Aberdeen it felt like a very long day!
