Before they fall

They are only in flower for a few days, but what a glorious sight.
Just fancy driving up  this long avenue,  through a canopy of pink blossom.
A gentleman who was walking past said they would look better in the sunshine, but I don't think we will be having any today, and as the wind was blowing too, I thought I had better take my photo before the petals start to fall.
Looking back they are about a week later this year.
