Pond progress

Up date on the pond clearance.
The collage says it all.
So much work for a small village pond. 
I can begin to see what it will look like when it is finished.
Nice to see the local school children taking an interest, as their school backs onto the pond area.
I can remember fishing for newts in the pond when I was a little girl, and bringing home frogspawn in a jam jar. Watching the tadpoles change into frogs before letting them go in the field. I don't remember there being any ducks then.
One muscovy duck seems not to mind the disruption, but the four mallards have now taken up strutting around the village.
I think they will be glad when it is all finished.
