Ferocious

A ferocious day of house painting that left me nursing a pizza and a glass or two at the end of a very long day. The Boss was away and I watched 'Fort Apache' on the iPlayer. Made in 1948 as the first of John Ford's Cavalry Trio (think She wore a yellow ribbon and Rio Grande) starring The Duke and Henry Fonda) 'it was one of the first to present an authentic and sympathetic view of the  Native Americans involved in ... battle.'

It was a beautiful day but with rain and high humidity forecast I finally got my decorator's ass into gear (so to speak).
