Dangling

Today we drove to Anglesey to accompany our friends as they moved their 'new' boat from dry dock to a mooring. The first part went well! The boat was taken from its position, transferred to this crane and gently lowered into the water. We boarded and tootled round to the mooring half an hour away. Our 'sailor' friend is obviously not experienced with mooring onto buoys, and the whole procedure was rather tricky due to wind, tide and his lack of knowledge and patience! H got a very injured left hand, 4 cuts which would have been MUCH worse without his sailing gloves! NOT too good for playing his double bass this evening!!
I may be absent for a few days as H has a concert on Saturday. This involves me. We have 2 French people coming to stay who are in a choir and this choir will be singing with the orchestra which my husband plays
in. These 2 are staying for 2 nights, dinner B and B. We also have the bass soloist staying Friday until Saturday. Added to this they are short of people to do tea and coffee in the interval so guess who is helping!  Then, by sheer coincidence, 3 hours after our French guests leave we have a New Zealand couple who are friends of our son in law's parents, coming to stay!! See you soon :-)
