I heard it on the bo-vine

I had half an hour to kill in MK while waiting for an appointment at the opticians so availed myself of an offer of a coffee and croissant for £2.95 at Cafe Rouge.  And jolly good it was too.

This scene caught my eye through the window.  And people think that Milton Keynes has no culture or heritage.  We are known for our cows, both concrete and plastic.  It would probably have been better had I actually gone outside to shoot it, but I didn’t want to miss my repast.

If you’re interested in the technicalities of this blip - and I know some of you are -  the croissant (warm) came in a little wooden tray with a pot of butter and a small jar of strawberry jam.  The coffee, a double espresso, was served with a jug of hot water on the side so that I could dilute the coffee to my particular taste.

I will probably return to Cafe Rouge when I next have time to kill before an appointment with the optician; this will be in two weeks time.  I may even venture outside with my camera.
