Ice Cream Sunday

Back to the Castle this afternoon, for the second time this week. This time, took Samantha along as she quite fancied doing a bit of photography. Made sure she'd finished her '99 first though.

The good thing about being a member of Historic Scotland, apart from saving £26 every time we visit, is that you can pop in later on in the day when most of the tourists are heading out and not be harassed as much by the hordes of pushy tourists. Mostly, that is.

There's always good views from up on top of the rock, even through the mizzle like today, and there's more than enough photographable subject matter around the castle itself to point and click at. It's a good training ground, and I had a very attentive and enthusiastic trainee today.
