After lying discarded in a corner for ages we dusted down and plugged in the Wii last night. Poor neighbours must've wondered where all the racket was coming from as we tortured various classics in Guitar Hero. A bit rusty on the old strings buttons with that one.

Euan was in his element though, having forgotten how much more fun it is introducing a bit more physicality into the usual PS3/computer based video gaming. He was barely finished his Weetabix this morning* and he was straight back into it.

While he's happily occupied with that I think we're going to sneak off to a beer garden somewhere. The sun's making a rare appearance today and I'm building up a bit of a thirst for something peary and cidery.

Shhh.... Don't tell him Wii're gone.

*12:15pm that was.
