Early morning bunny
Today I decided to turn insomnia into a virtue and got up shortly before 5.00. A quick shower, a quick breakfast and I was in Richmond Park just before 6.30 on what turned out to be a glorious morning.
This little chap was the first thing I bumped into and although he quickly hopped behind the fence which protects a small pond from incursions by the deer, he was quite happy to sit there nibbling grass while I took his picture.
The park is in one of those transitional stages, lots of fresh new growth, the red deer shedding their winter coats and growing fresh antlers and the azaleas in the Isabella Plantation bursting into bloom - the extras try to capture some of this.
