Dull or what?

This morning I took the bus to the next village to get my hair cut by a new (to me) hairdresser, who almost scalped me, then I walked home via the back road, hoping to find something more blipworthy than this.

Dull, in more ways than one.

Having watched 'The Secret' last night, I caught up with the recorded 'Gogglebox' over lunch, then tried another of Mary Berry's recipes - stem ginger shortbread - which made a nice change from the usual plain stuff. The recipe called for some semolina, which I didn't have in my cupboard, so I used polenta instead.
