Bird's Eye View

It's not unusual for heron to perch in tree tops but it's a bit tricky to catch them there for a blip.  This is my resident heron who is usually standing in the reeds on the other side of the water.  This time I wasn't quite fast enough to catch him in flight and was happy he chose to go up rather than down to the water as he came in for a landing.
