Another one

As you all like reflections here is another one. This time it's the Gherkin.

What a day. Delayed on the way in as there had been a fire at Vauxhall. It's unsettling and one spends the day playing catchup. And throughout the day one is aware that there will be problems on the way home. The fire had meant that only 3 lines out of 8 were usable. The train that I was aiming to get wasn't running but I got on another late running one. Knowing that the journey was going to be a challenge I boarded the train with an ice lolly, a can of G&T and an espresso in a can. We left about 20 minutes late but was then further delayed by a signalling problem.

What a day
