Tucked in

Back to the big dig - the final section of the garden to be tackled.  It has an impressive collection of nature's most pernicious weeds.  It was just hard work.

Across the road, John has hired a digger to create a space on the hillside for his new shed.  They have dug an area probably as big as my garden down to a depth of 3 metres in places.  In two days.

My manual efforts are puny in comparison.  But who enjoyed it more?  Who got the most satisfaction from the process?
