Bye bye hugs

A month is a long time when you're 6 years old. Saying goodbye to your beloved teacher for that long is not fun! She had a fabulous last lesson before school. She was so excited to learn her first piece from the next grade, she laughed at some new work that B had for her that she thinks is wonderful. She learnt some more upper register notes on the clarinet. And she got a fabulous funky pig money box as a reward for her amazing exam result. She THEN managed to top her 10-sticker record with 12! To finish it all off, she had a massive big hug with B, before leaving with a bit of a scowl. She has a lot of fun stuff to work on for this next month, both band and orchestra to keep her playing formally and she's away for 3 of the 5 weekends B is away too. It will be a long month, but she'll be fine! 


School was fine, she didn't have a lot to report about it today, then we cycled to the train ready for ballet. She's made a card for B which we dropped off on the way home. Bed followed swiftly!
