Why?

Today dawned beautifully. Clear blue skies and birds singing. I knew it would be emotional but not quite how emotional. Today I, and hundreds of others, crammed into a church to mourn the death of a baby. A perfect first child who lived for only a day. There are no words to describe the bravery and strength of his parents. I hope that they might take comfort in some small way in the many, many people who turned out today to share their grief.
