Guess what it is?

Today Year 5 went to the tip! They are doing a mini project on recycling in geography, so we went to visit some recycling sites on the island. We were able to go where the general public aren't usually allowed to go. We saw piles of rubbish, ready to be sorted, crushed and exported. Guernsey has one landfill site which has approximately six years life left in it. I wonder what the children will come up with as the alternative solution?
