Yakkety Yak

Poor LooseCanon has an awful cold and at altitude it's worse. We are at Shangri La which is a fictional place mentioned in the book Lost Horizon. Zhongdian was selected as the place which closely resembled Shangri La and was renamed. It has a huge Tibetan monastery shown here, housing 800 monks. We also went for a drive round Napa lake but it was difficult to stop at just the right place to photograph the many Yaks horses and birds which live there.
We think this yak had only just given birth to this little yak calf , ( Yaklet? ) in extra. I wouldn't argue with those horns.
