Rookery

A trip to town for bits and pieces and then we had lunch at the garden centre.  Is this a very middle aged thing to do?  Ah well!  

We succumbed and bought a couple of tomato plants, they are about a foot tall whereas ours are just tiny seedlings!   It's very rewarding to be able to grow them from seed, but they take a lot of heat and cossetting and the season is so very short.

Lots of noisy rooks in Kirkwall, with huge, untidy nests!  Love hearing them . . .  I have a soft spot for all corvids.
