How can you trust a historical drama
When it shows two bedroom scenes with the same couple and in one, the man is on the right hand side of the bed and in the other, he is on the left hand side of the bed. Couples DO NOT alternate which side of the bed they sleep on. There is His side and then there's Her side and no one ever even contemplates swapping over and giving the other side a go, not even for just one night. If Diana and I swapped sides I just know it would feel weird and I certainly wouldn't be able to sleep properly.
So, the HBO/BBC drama Rome which in season 1 portrays the rise and fall of Caesar lost all credibility in the final episode due to that little continuity error. I bet Caesar wasn't even stabbed in the senate by Brutus and his chums but went on to rule Rome until he retired to a little cottage by the sea in the South of Italy. Not sure I can even bring myself to watch season 2. Think I'll stick to Game of Thrones - no goofs there.
