WILD HORSES

running along the beach. Well, they are not very wild, but I think wild enough to be my contribution to the Wild Wednesday challenge, thanks to Cailleach for hosting.
In the morning Piet Hein and I went to the beach, the weather great and the wind not too cold.
Mischa just a bit under the weather, hopefully she will feel better soon.
It is so wonderful to see the sea, at the horizon dark blue coloured.
After lunch we both slept for some time. When I was awake again, I cycled to centre city to collect the vegetables which are on Wednesday  available by subscription.
I cycled not too fast, I really must adapt to the crowded streets, but all went well.

My haiku:

On my iron horse
At walking pace I exhort
Myself for more speed.

And the quote by John Burroughs, Indoor Studies, 1889:

We can outrun the wind and the storm, but we cannot outrun the demon of Hurry.
