Surprise Surprise!!

I couldn't resist the lure of the sunshine, so I went for a slow stroll in the nature reserve. I was ambling along when I spotted the grass moving and thinking it might be a frog or rodent I went to investigate.......I parted the grass and peered in only to be met by this chap peering out.......so discretion being the better part of valour ( I'm just a coward really), I took a couple of quick shots and left him to it :-)
As I drove into the car park this critter (see 1st extra) settled on my car window (please don't look at the dirty window), I'm not sure what it is but I was mighty glad it was on the outside!!
I like going to this particular venue because there are lots of benches for me to rest my back as I stroll but today every bench I came across had someone else's bottom on it ( see 2nd extra which I have jokingly titled 'Oh Bum!!').........so I was forced to walk the whole time.....which means I'm a bit more achy but I'm sure I'll survive  ;-))
