Baby bird - (robin?)

I know little or nothing about birds, but if one comes and sits beside me within range of my little digital compact and begs sweetly to be photographed I am always happy to oblige.

I have photographed robins about half a dozen times over the last few years but don't think I ever saw a junior before, so if that's what this is, or whatever it is, it breaks the monotony and is a welcome addition to my random collection.

In my extras today: I know the first one is a thrush, not sure which kind, so will again welcome expert opinion, and as for the second shot, well, we all know what they are ... cheeky beggars !!
