TENANICITY

Despite heavy wind all night long, these leaves are holding fast. At first light, I fully expected all the trees to be bare, so it was a welcome sight to find I was wrong. An hour after this photo was taken it came on to rain & moisture fell for a short time, but not nearly long enough to keep this gardener happy ! By the look of the weather, it could come on again later in the day. The 'A' team arrived early & under the guidance of Rod, planted 6 maples up the back in the windiest part of my garden. Hope the maples win out, I know how they hate wind. Here we have heather borders round the edge of the right hand lawn. Quite cold now.
