Hole in the Ground

I see this site where the University Informatics department used to be on South Bridge/ Cowgate is eventually being worked on

... the hole in the ground as it has been called has suddenly started to get bigger

... must check out the plans for what is going in here to fil this space

... a big space with lost of floors taking you from the Cowgate to the Bridges -
didn't Nicky Tams or some other suite of bars cover all six or seven floors back in the 70's?
