Cups and mugs in the sun.

It is the perfect day to put the pots outside in the sun to dry!   Getting ready to put on the kiln tomorrow and this just really helps.

Last night was our 4th Annual Night at the Nunnery fundraiser, put on by our amazing dragon boat team, The MammoWarriors.   It is a spectacular event, great food, wine, wonderful entertainment, a silent auction and the amazing energy of a team of women who are passionate about raising funds for local cancer patient care organization. I am so happy to be part of this group.   Just got word that our final net amount raised was $8,800!   Pretty astonishing.   Our profit was higher than last year, which was higher than the year before....just keeps getting better.

Today i'm resting....having a well needed down day, it's sunny and warm and i spent a bit of time doing some sketching.   Using something i haven't tried before....graphite pencils that are water soluble....pretty cool.  Using them with my fabulous waterbrush, makes for a very easy going and fun time.
