Dirty dirty job...

my least favorite job is sieving glazes....it's messy, cumbersome and just plain horrible!   but it has to be done each year after all the glazes freeze during the winter.   so they are lumpy and a mess.....so there is a lot of work to be done to get things ready for the first glaze kiln of this season!!!

Also excited about making up 5 new glaze tests!!!   that's always fun...but also can be the beginning of a lot of headaches!  

On a brighter note, the sun is shining....the sky is blue and it's not snowing!   went into town to distribute flyers for the upcoming Mother's Day Sale here.....and saw such a great variety of wild life, deer, an adult bald eagle with her young, and a seal out on the ice.   And things are starting to come alive in our sleepy little village....The High-wheeler cafe is now open, Wong's Chinese place was being spruced up for their opening next week...yeah!
