Winter is coming

A good dose of snow this morning, but not enough to stop Claire's in-service day. Angus had the day off and did precisely no revision.

It's our fifth anniversary today and we're running away to Alnwick (or, more precisely, Howick) for the weekend. We dropped Megan's swimming kit with her in Edinburgh and then headed down a hideous A1 in driving rain.

The Old Rectory was very welcoming, but no sooner had we arrived we went off to the Jolly Fisherman in Craster. Good food, but an amazing view of the sea crashing against the harbour.
