How did that happen?

Today's unexpected highlight involved a shopping trip to Westfield with Anna. Highlight not because I expected it to be bad necessarily but we do try to avoid Westfield at the weekends. Possibly due to the lovely weather but today it seemed we were in the minority and crowds wise it really wasn't that bad. And we haven't been clothes shopping in so long Anna was incredibly excited and appreciative and the whole thing was just a lot of fun.

The morning was lovely too with a big dog walk for me and Carlos (and Albi) and a sit in the garden with friends of all ages (well basically all our ages) who popped by to say hello. They are lurkers so I can take this opportunity to say how much we appreciate them and all our friends who have not abandoned us as we have been so housebound with our socialising. You know how much we are desperate to be eating and drinking you all out of house and home.

J had a good morning and a not so good afternoon so an improvement on yesterday. The waiting game is hard and distractions are good. 10 days to go.

Apparently it is Sunday evening but the joy of Bank Holiday Monday tomorrow means it has another worldly feel to it.
