Terrier Racing

The annual Albury produce show was held today.
It's an unmissable local event! The stalls were all out mostly selling local produce. There were Morris Dancers, a Brass Band and plenty of side shows to entertain the children and of course wine, cider, Pimms and beer tents to entertain the adults.

A large marquee contains the entries for the produce competitions. The flower arrangements, crafts, photographs and vegetables of all shapes and sizes. Some of the efforts were truly amazing and I wish I could blip the lot. My aim to enter a couple of photographs went out of the window when I found myself far to busy to get to the printers. Next year!

Having to choose one image today was difficult with so many good and diverse images on the card. One of the major highlights of the day is the Terrier Racing. I use the word Terrier very loosely! If it has four paws and barks it can enter. Spaniels, Poodles, Collies amongst other breeds were all present. This image doesn't show the surrounding crowd laughing at the dogs less than professional antics but, having had a quick look through what I've taken, is one of the images that stood out.

So much fun to show and only one blip! I'll put up a link when I get them loaded in the next couple of days.
