The Monica cupboard

I like the way that our stories can throw up linguistic shortcuts. Punch gave us the curate's egg and 'Friends' gave us the Monica cupboard.

This upstairs room is currently my instance of the latter. As I've worked my way around sorting each room in the house over the last three months, anything that doesn't have a home has ended up in here.

My plan at the weekend is to sort it out, with stuff either going up to the attic, finding a home in this room, or going to the tip (and I have got rid of a tremendous amount of stuff over the last three months).

I'm hoping this room will be a (tidy) home for all my music kit, computer stuff, graphic novels, and all the CDs that didn't find a home downstairs (which is the majority!). I'll post a photo if it happens :-)
