Stunning colours

No sooner than Normous has cut the grass, leaving it pristine with lovely stripes, than the Magnolia Grandiflora starts dropping its leaves. It isn't only the "flora" that are grandi with this tree, but the leaves as well! These are six inches long and very tough. Their redeeming feature is the beautiful colours they display.
I spent time in the garden today, tidying pots and repotting some plants. No bending required! This is the end of April and I was well wrapped up in my fleece against the cold wind.
