Bougainvillea

A sad day - morning opener found Dotty dead. She has been ailing for ages and it's no surprise, the surprise is how long she has carried on despite her frailty, she was one of the oldest. I am so going to miss her, she had the most character of any of the girls, cheekily flying up onto me  to see what treats I had bought, jumping in the food bins to help herself, coming up for a cuddle. She had the prettiest softest feathers too. I am so relieved it wasn't me that found her as i would have just wept.It's going to be so odd and sad closing the coop tonight and her not being there.
