April (Snow) Showers

One of the big benefits of staying where we are this week is that there is a stunning walk into Loch Coruisk right on the doorstep. In the end the river crossing at Camasunary defeated us a mile or so from target, but that still gave us a cracking 10 mile out and back, with a couple of incredibly heavy hailstorms to break things up.

The walk brought deer, a couple of white-tailed eagles, a great northern diver, some glorious golden plovers and a fair stack of other things, as well as stunning views pretty much all the way along.

And fantastic to be able to walk back to the house, rather than the car and facing a drive back home.
