Move on

Some very difficult recent discussions within the school community continued today as understanding the need to welcome diversity and tolerance are the lessons that need to be learned. Watching from the kerbside, I am looking for signs that we can all move forward along the road that engenders forbearance, mutual understanding and growth.
Meanwhile, workmen grabbed the opportunity given by the short lived sunshine to continue ripping up and replacing the road between my apartment building and the main school building, before, once again, the heavens opened right on cue at the start of the lunch break.
