Blue and Gold
The last of the sun caught the buildings on the Anatolian side of Istanbul like a jewel encrusted crown of sparkling gold just as I was out walking (again) at 19.30. I only had my phone with me - but had to catch it.
After last night's thunderstorms, the change during the day in to more-than-warm sunshine was as unexpected as it was welcomed by neighbours and colleagues who came out to play after school. The lad in the extra pic was last seen here.
I am mindful of the fact that for my Aussie and NZ friends, it is Anzac Day, and a day for everyone to remember what was, and must never be again.
