Mrs Jones Cabaret

This evening Renee and I bought an ice cream cone at McDonald's. Then we drove to the City Square downtown Duncan where a Summer Festival concerts are held. The jazz group Mrs Jones Cabaret performed on stage. Mira Black was the singer. And Mira did mention her low cut dress, a gift from a lover who may have had an ulterior motive. Those were her words.

The man in the photograph is Andrew Slade. He played the electric keyboard. When he was a high school student, he had piano lessons with the same teacher as our daughter.

His grandfather and my father worked together for Pacific Water Wells, a drilling company. Of course, his grandmother and grandfather attended the concert. And I had an opportunity to talk with them.
