On yer bike!

Travelling back from an appointment with a specialist (knee related). We tried to avoid the build of traffic by coming back via Thirsk. Glad we did as it sorted todays photo out. In Sutton Under Whitestone Cliff just under Sutton Bank preparations for the Tour de Yorkshire 1st May were almost complete. This one caught my eye and I had to ask my chauffeur to pull over to allow this to be captured.

Verdict on the knee - it is showing signs of early wear and tear. The good news is with medication, physio and a new injection he can improve the situation and hopefully stave off surgery a while longer. Even better I can keep on cycling to keep fit. Fingers crossed it works! Pity you can't trade your worn out bits for a newer model!
