AVON CALLING

Spent a pleasant morning by The Avon at Stratford, you'll find a few other VIEWS here, waited for the Sonnet Marathon to get started and then drove over to Broadway for lunch before a steady drive up The Fosse Way to join the road North, we've been incredibly lucky with the weather over the last few days as the forecast wasn't that good.
Stopped on the way at a Craft Fare in Moreton in Marsh and was lured upstairs by the sound of The Andrew Sisters, turned out to be these three talented young ladies (see the extra) who call themselves The D-Day Dolls, a very polished performance of old favourites from dark days of WW2 and I thought deserved of a mention, I'd certainly book them for the right type of function, they would go down a treat with my dear pensioners.
