After looking a bit wan and bedraggled when he woke just before the clock went green (when his brother had already been up for an hour) he moped about a bit and had a couple more sleeps before eventually regaining bounce in the afternoon. At one point he dragged himself up stairs in the hope of getting a go up in the loft whilst I popped up to look for a stack of those wee cardboard plant pot things but I dissuaded him on the grounds of him being a bit too sleepy and wobbly to be climbing ladders, seeing as his main birthday present was sitting in full view across from the hatch.
