Astoria

It was a showery day but thankfully no snow :)  The sun came out just before 5pm and been a lovely sunny evening, bit chilly.

A fine late start in the museum on Sundays and managed to get a fine walk with Sammy before work.  Came over the hill and into Lerwick, and there was a cruise liner berthed!  It's been a busy day with tourists and all the questions thrown at me :)  After tea, me and niece Elise went for a walk about Scalloway with Sammy, before I ran her home. 

So that's the summer season of visitors started now, and the first cruise liner of the year to arrive.  I think there are 79 liners booked in for this year, 20 more than last year :)  A great boost for the local shops and crafts.  This is the Astoria, berthed at Holmsgarth, Lerwick.
