Seydisfjordur

No trips today but a gentle exploration of this pretty town. We followed a waymarked path out of the town and got this shot of the ship. There were lots more wildflowers to photograph. In the town we visited the little blue church and in the shop at the pier I bought mr spider a hat from Iceland to replace the one that blew overboard on the first day at sea.

It was his birthday and it was celebrated in true shipboard fashion with a greeting in the daily news sheet, Happy Birthday sung at dinner by the waiters and a little cake with a candle to blow out.
