Lhude sing cuccu

I've been on duty at Longshaw today. It started quite warm and sunny but as the day progressed it got duller, windier and colder. I was glad I'd had a stroll as soon as I'd got there. I didn't see a great deal but I did hear my first Cuckoo of the year and another one was reported from the opposite end of the estate. 
These tiny Larch flowers are often overlooked, but I find them very pretty.
