Purple Patch

So far, today has been quiet, uneventful.  I quite like that, once in a while. 

The most exciting event was the arrival of my Amazon order - pencils, erasers, and a sharpener!

The furthest from home - a walk up the garden. The most activity - helping to heave the trailer into a vertical position so we don't have to walk round it all the time. A bit of weeding. And then the rain came on.  So I hastily took a picture of this clump of aubretia, and the extra of a very baby leaf of that bush that smells like candy-floss in the autumn. I do know the name but not how to spell it.
