Ding Dong Merrily On High

As you can see it is a bit crowded up the bell chamber now with 11 bells in there now. The bells are on their wheels and attached to the bell frame. The are covered in tarpaulin to protect them from the worse that the pigeons can do. This week the bell frame has been cemented into the pockets in the tower walls.

Over the course of the next two weeks the tracery will go back in the final window, the louvres and sound control doors will be installed and the ropes attached. The bells will have to hang there until they can be rung which is estimated to be about Christmas time. Hence the title of this blip.
