Raucous.......

......in the tops of the Cabbage Tree.

A prime place to be if your a bird, the seeds of the cabbage tree are ripe and ready for the picking. But it always seems the ones your mates are gorging are far better than your own, lots of squabbles from these young starlings today.

A hard decision on which one to blip but decided on the action and a glint in the eye, certainly tells a story. I've included a few extras telling the story, perhaps some of those are better shots, whereas this shot seems to sit in the middle of the scenario.

Weather today, not the best. Although no rain it's been mainly overcast with a slight brightning of the sky round noon, the temperature has been up and down with a northerly swinging round to a cooler southerly, 20C.

Time to get the washing in and think about tea, some form of casserole today with hubby working late.
